We're home from Sibthorp North

Rukia enjoyed her first visit. She did well in the car, but the cold snow was hard on her.

We got a lot done inside, the bathroom is primed and ready for the final color. And the new toilet is installed. Just add new light fixtures and we'll be done (for now).

Laurel's Barbies have settled into the bedroom closet nicely.

The kitchen is painted and waiting for new light fixtures (coming later this year).

The living room is waiting for a primer and paint. We've got most of the furniture we need and the fireplace is nice and cozy.

Winter is beautiful here. And we can't wait till spring.

Welcome home daddy!

Daddy's home after a long business trip.  His travel has begun again.   

While he was gone, Laurel got a cardboard castle to color.  This is a belated Christmas present.  It takes up quite a lot of space, but is a lot fun.  

  Laurel has also been helping me a lot in the kitchen.  This morning we made a favorite, Blackberry Corn Muffins.  And I has some special Valentine's Day muffin pan liners to decorate our baked goods. 

 

Rukia is glad Daddy's home too.  Now she can go back to guarding the sunny spots on the carpeting.

The last item I have to share today is a video Laurel and made earlier this week.  I'd intended to send it to Bryan, but got busy and forgot about it.   Here's a sneak peak at life with Rukia, always wanting to snuggle.
