Happy Memorial Day!

We honor our veterans today by remembering their sacrafice, our freedom and liberty.  Thank you.

 With that in mind, we enjoyed our improved lake view.  With the trees trimmed back, we can now relax to a beautiful sunset.

Today, we visited Sleeping Bear Dunes.  It was a little windy, but overall a pleasant day trip.

Got some stuff done around the lake today.  View reclaimed, fire pit dug.  Kid happy to be a kid.  Dog likes to swim.

Oh.  And there was pie, ice cream and creme puffs.

Home on the Lake

After a long day of driving, we made it to the lake.  Here we are enjoying the sunset.  

And Miss Laurel wasted no time getting into the lake to hunt for rocks.  

I love seeing 3 generations of Sibthorps in one photos.  It doesn't happen often enough.

They are both great in the car- its not their favorite - but still good travelers.

Early morning

My day started early with a 6:17am request to get on the trampoline. I managed to put her off until 6:56am. I wonder if she'll be worn out by 10 am?
